A stable hub in the region
Carroll County has zero distressed census tracts, while several neighboring counties do, including Columbiana (6), Tuscarawas (4), and Mahoning (30). That makes Stronger Together a stable base from which to support the wider Appalachian Ohio region.
Transitional status also lowers the local match required for ARC grants, opening doors for partners seeking funding.
